HELP!!!!!!!

I have a 10 gl tank and i have to goldfish two yellow lab cichlids and a red platy my tank has been up and running for about 5 months now and the water has a tint of yellow in it how do i fix this (the water has been much cleaner before) wat should i do

I have tried a 25% water change and it didn;t work. could it be an algae build up?

The fish in your tank are not suitable for it, even though you say you had it running for 5 months, you are amazingly lucky.

As far as the yellow tint.

Give us your water test results first, you cannot ask for help about your water with giving us water parameters.

The tank is too small for the Cichlid also.

unless you keep your goldfish in water that's 25oC (have to admit i saw one lfs here doing just that) i'd say how;ve you managed it?

Goldfish are coldwater.

Stocking issues aside, do you have driftwood in your tank? Leeching tannins from wood can turn the water yellow.

I have rocks from a river but i boiled them clean

Goldfish should only be kept with goldfish.

What are your specific water parameters? In order to help we need to know more than "it's fine".

2 labs don't belong in a 10g.
2 goldfish don't belong in a 10 (goldfish shouldn't even be kept with tropical fish at all)
...and definitely not all 4 of them PLUS a red platy.
