just wondering if anyone could help ?
i have a juwel vision 260 and the reinforcement/support bar was snapped when i got it, i have tried several times to fix this using diffrent glues but none have been able to stay stuck for more than a few days due to water pressure and heat ect.
when filled to the top there is a gap of around half an inch between where the bar has broken and the outside edge. at the moment i have a large clamp holding the top this looks terrible and gets in the way for feeding and cleaning.
anyone have any suggestions? dont want to get a whole new tank just for one piece of plastic but running out of ideas anyone else had a similar problem ?
thanks in advance ,

You can buy new Juwel bracing bars from the interwebby.

fab !!! cheers tom now next question .... what glue would you recomend ?

I have a 55 gallon 4 ft long tank that I got with a broken front to back tie brace. What I did was to make a thin wooden stick that fit the space. Then I drilled tiny holes in that broken brace and added some small screws that went through the brace into my stick. The end result has been a tank that holds up fine to water loads and if it ever tears out I can replace that bracing stick for pennies.

good idea oldman47! only prob is with mine the bar has snapped where it joins the tank so i need to remove the old one and reattach a new one. need suggestions for plastic to plastic? anyone ?

thoose bars depend on which tank you have, some have removable bars, some dont its dependant on age of the tank.
