Help !

I have recently bought a 94 litre river reef tank that is maturing @ the moment, I have 13kg of live rock, a few yellow polyps and some kind of mushroom coral & other things that keep appearing every day. After reading many posts on hear I have just bought a V-skim 120 as the tank did not come with a skimmer anyway, problem is the only way that I can fit it in is by dropping the water level to the minimum level that is marked on the back of the tank, which is something I really do not want to do. Please let me know if you have done this upgrade & how to do it, there must be a better way than dropping the water level.
I have already upgraded the lighting to run the led's, blue T5's & fans & white T5's on 3 seperate timers, if anyone needs to know how to do this please contact me.
