hi all i would like to no what would be need to keep a lake pike caught from a lake as to say as i have a full setup doing nothing its a rena aqualife 2 meter tank hould about 700ltr could it be done i have a friend who breds fish for lake and could source the pike from him

Are you in the UK or US (or any other country for that matter).

I think the problem will be when it outgrows the 700 litre tank, its illegal to release into a lake or river (unless privately owned but I'm not sure). I'd check up on the legality of it.

If you're in the US that tank could quite comfortably house some of the smaller pike's (grass/red fin pickerel).
