Help!

Im rubbish at this fish thing!

We're trying to cycle our tank with fish, and having a mare and a half. My husband just tried to check the filter and a load of crap has just dropped out of the filter and into the tank argh!!! The water is disgusting now with all stuff floating about in it.

What can we do?

Clean the filter pads in a bucket of water taken from the tank and do a 50% water change (using a syphon if possible).

What filter do you have and how many fish are in the tank? If your still cycling you really shouldn't be finding the filters clogged already ??

We have a aqua one 102f maxi internal filter, and we have a 65 litre tank. We have 6 platys in there atm.

either do a small water change or wait a bit and it should get sucked back in or settle on the ground and u can vacum it up
