Hi I have been away for two weeks leaving my sister in charge of my fish, every thing seems fine but my pearscale is having trouble swimming and is getting stuck upside down near the surface I am guessing this is swim bladder. My black moore has also rapidly changed colour and is now nearly three quaters gold.
What has gone wrong, I have done a water change and everything seems fine.

She probably over-fed the fish, fancy goldfish are very prone to getting constipation which then leads to swimbladder problems if they are not fed carefully/properly. What do you feed the fish exactly and how much/often on average? When you say one of the goldfish turned gold, does it look like the gold is dusted onto the fish or does it look like an actual change in the skin pigments in the goldfishes scales/skin?

Yeh agreed, they are extremely prone to swim bladder problems, and swim bladder problems are usually quite difficult to fix, but you could always attach a cork to it using an elastic band, it works!
