2 days ago my male white mollies died :-( and I thought, OK he was kind of old". And then yesterday my male guppy died. My water is ok and I looked at them before and after I took them out of the tank and they didn't seem to have any marks or anything on them. They were both about a year old counting before I got them from my lfs. Does anyone know what could be happening? I know I didn't give a lot of info but that's the best I can do. I found both the dead fish in the place each time if that would have anything to do with it.
Thanks,

OK...
Ph-7.2
Ammonia-0
Nitrates-10 ppm
I don't have any of the other test kits. When I looked the last time I went I couldn't find anything. (I get my supplies at Petsmart and my fish at my lfs)

Ok well a Nitrite kit is just as important as an Ammonia kit. Deadly Ammonia is converted(by bacteria) to nitrite in the Nitrogen cycle. Nitrite is not as fast killing as ammonia but is still toxic to fish and can suffocate them over a period of time. As you probably know, no levels of ammonia are accepted in tanks. Nitrite is almost the same, except some very low levels can be tolerated by some fish but is not recommended.
Some lfs will let you bring in your tank water and they'll test it for a certain fee. Try to get this done since you cannot obtain a nitrite kit right away, then maybe later you can buy one off the internet

Good luck
