yesterday i bought (new first ever) pearl arowana for my 6 foot tank i was told it ate muscles and cockels but when i came to feed it today the food fell to the bottom and did not get any as i am new to this i have no idea what to do

Arowana's usually take a while to settle down after being moved and it could be as much as two weeks before they are ready to feed again, keep offering a little food each day until the arowana is ready. Remember to remove any uneaten food after a hour to prevent the water being fouled.
