my cory is just sitting on the bottom not moving and breathing heavilly, also one of his fins has started to disappear please help.

Sounds like it could be finrot. You might be best asking for help in the tropical emergency section. Tank stats will help. Size, tankmates, ammonia, NitrIte readings etc. When was the last time the substrate was vaccumed? Cories can pick up some icky things from unvaccumed substrate since they spend so much time on it and rooting in it.
Hugs,
P.

i'll ask in the emergency section, all the reasings are normal, last vacumed 2 weeks ago

Hi guppymad :)

Your cory has a bacterial infection which is often called finrot. When you have corys, it's best to do weekly water changes and bottom vacuuming. The corys spend almost all their time on the bottom where the dirt and harmful bacteria accumulate.

If you put your location in your profile I could recommend some medicines that might help him.
