my guppies is a double tail and during the struggle to catch him at the lps part of his tail got ripped now its getting wors, more is coming off. im afaid that he will be a one tailed double tail. HELP

If more of the tail is coming off...i believe it may be fin rot....if it is...then just just go to an lps and get some ointment/tablets/medicine for your guppy...should be a lot of products out there for fin rot....

Also, if you haven't had him for too long you may be able to take him back to your lps and swap him for someone else, especially if one of their employees was responsible for causing the damage to the wee fella in the first place.

Fin Rot has white fungisy stuff on the end of the fins...follow my sig for info

nope its not fin rot, ill be calling later if they have returns on fish

There are some products on the market that can help with hurt fish. I have heard that a product Melafix works but I haven't seen it in stores in my area. With a newly introduced fish any damage can hurt them very badly because they are already under a large amount of stress.
