Watching the rock last night and spotted these... Now from experience i remember on another forum that i was advised to get rid asap.

Bristleworms i know are good for the tanks upkeep etc, so just really wanted to know if these are indeed Bristleworms? 2 of them are quite large i would say approx 8 inches in length.

they look like bristleworms. They aren't normally a problem unless you pick them up. then they leave little glass spicules/hairs in your skin and they irritate the heck out of you. A piece of sticky tape is good for getting the glass hairs out.

Cheers Colin,

not really sure if the bottle trap will work with them? So they may have to remain in the tank and hope they dont do anything untoward..

look like bristle worms to me :good: unless they are huge just leave them, they are good guys in the tank, ugly buggers but good cuc

Agreed, bristleworms. I'd just leave them if I were you :)
