I set my tank up 2 days ago and i have added necessary water dechlorinaters and bacteria enhancers.

I am going to do a water test over weekend and assuming everything is OK I will be adding a couple of mollies on Monday.

Just a couple of questions.

a) What readings should I be getting from water test. ( i assume i am looking for zero across the board)

B) What fish will be suitable to put with the Mollies ina couple of weeks when I add my second couple of fish?

you need to cycle your tank really before putting in fish but i did just what you did and put a molly in my tank. i was told to leave it 2 weeks before you put any fish in.

you should have nothing bar nitrAtes in the tank in which case it's cycled but i'd not expect this really.

i have my mollies with platies and they seem to be doing ok.

a) depends what is in your tap water

B) you really only want to add fairly hardy fish for about 2 months, perhaps some cory's?

- mollies IMO aren't really the best fish to use to cycle a tank, you would probably be better with a trio of platies
