Hello. I have a pregnant Gold Panda Molly and I'm unsure what to do. I do not want the babies, nor am I even close to supplied to care for them. Should I just let them get eaten?

It's not considered an emergency and not everyone is online at the same time, so it might take a few hours before someone responds to the thread.

Emergencies usually consist of fish dying, gasping at the surface, or an aquarium cracking. These require immediate attention to prevent all the fish dying.

If you have lots of plants in the tank, the babies will hide in them and some might survive. It all depends on what other fishes are in the tank, how many plants are in the tank, and how often you feed the fish.

If there are no plants and the adult fish don't get fed much, the babies will most likely be eaten by everyone else in the tank.

If there are lots of plants and the adults are fed well, a lot of the babies will survive. The baby fish will eat microscopic organisms on plants and you can crush up some flake food into a powder and feed them that.

I'm so sorry for that. I was really stressed about the pregnant fish, and my exam that determines if I pass 10th grade. Dang you tests.
