help with pleco

i just noticed that on my plecos fins, there are two red bumps on each end. i don't know what it could be. my other fish seem to be doing fine. he's acting normal, just wondering what it could be and how to treat it. any help appreciated, thanks.

it's more like something growing on the fins. my camera is not working otherwise i would post a pic. but it's on and over the fins and red
