Need some advice!!
My female platy hasn't been eating for the past few days, and constantly goes and sits at the bottom of the tank. Finally, today, she has been moving around more and seems more active, however, I'm concerned with something going on near her head...
Here are some photos...

Have you tested the water, and if so, what were the results?

Have you done a large water change yet?

That is most definitely a fungal growth. You can tell because it's fluffy looking and is growing externally on the fish. You're going to need to treat it for it to go away. Pimafix is a pretty good mild antifungal that should technically be safe for your main aquarium. Another option is the general cure but that's more harsh. Some people also have luck dipping a q-tip in hydrogen peroxide and rubbing that on the surface of the fish, just be sure not to rub it on the mouth, gills or eyes. I recommend researching the growth a little more to try and pin point what exactly your fish has
