Help With Maintenance In 55G

So, now im noticing that i am having issues with trying to clean up the Feces of my fish. As it seems that i cannot clean up with the amount that keeps moving about . So could i get some suggestions as to where i can make my tank cleaner _-_ the feces just seems to be floating everywhere even though i seem to get all of it, about 5Minutes later the bottom of my tank has more piles of feces .0. so help meh

Are you using a filter? Sorry I am new here and I have no idea what species you are talking about or the maintenance of the tank. Are you doing water changes? Is the tank bare bottom? If it is bare bottom I can see this happening as there isn't really a place for the waste to go. I would suggest upgrading the filter if the species is compatible with a higher current because this one obviously isn't cutting it.

80Gal filter with 1/2 sand and 1/2 pebble substrate, species is cichlids( Rift Valley ) and 6Inch Common Pleco.
