Help With Lighting

Hi all i have just bought my self my first tank a juwel rio 125 and was wondering i am going to have this aquarium planted so how long do i leave the lights on for and when do i put them on i really want to see them on when i get home which would be a 4:00PM i leave the house at 8 in the morning and i do have access to a timer

For a planted aquarium about 5-6 hours to start with and then gradually increase if and when your plants need it. I really would invest in a timer it will make your life easier with a planted tank.

I have mine set to turn on at 4pm and turn off at 11pm
