Help with Identification...

Can you guys help me identify this little guy that came in on my live rock? It's on the righthand side of the pic, about in the middle from top to bottom. Some sort of anemone, but it doesn't look like the aptasia that also came in on the live rock. This has little spots on the tips, you can see them if you look closely. It opens up every day and then closes back up at night. Anyone know what it's called?

Looks like an aiptasia to me im afraid. Their colours can vary

yeah, I'd have to say aptasia as well.

Far too dark and out of focus to be sure. Could be a sponge. Could be majano or aiptasia. But impossible to tell.

ive got some aptasia that looks like that, so i just bought my cleaning of 5 peppermint shrimps and in just 2 weeks there all nearly gone (there was about 40 of the little buggers)
