Help With Id Please

We got these plecos with a tank we bought second hand. Could we get some id on them please as we,d like to know a bit more about them and what size they could grow to.

There both common species with the potential to get to 24 inches. The first is usually referred to as a chocolate common/chocolate plec but it is still just a colour variation of the common species. Hope the tank was a big 'un lol.

They came in a 260 litre. 2 dark and 1 brown. The brown is now in a 450 litre but if they,re going to get to that size they,ll be moved on to someone who can accomodate them. Thank you

Alot of them tend to stay between 14-18 inches but the potential is there for 24+ inches and ive seen a couple slightly over this. There also very clumsy and to destroy tank setups and plants more often than not lol.

450 litres would be ok but i still would probably only house 1 tbh even it that size tank.

To be honest i,ve never really liked plecos so if I could find something else to do their job i,d be happy enough. Although saying that there are some lovely plecs on here. I,ve got all american cichlids in my tanks so I could also do without these poo machines.
