Help With Id Of This Plec Please.....

A friend at work has offered me this plec for little/no money and I am interested. However I'd like to know what species it is first. Here are the pictures he could take....

It's apparently around 14cm long. Any ideas anyone?

That's a L001 - Pterygoplichthys joselimaianus

Cheers Bloo - that site says they could theoretically grow to 1ft...... any idea if this is likely/true?

the length quoted there doesn't include the tail, in all probablity 1 foot is the minimum overall length for the adult fish
