Help With Hagen Tropiquarium 68/88 Light Timer

Hi there,
Im seeking some advice for my lights and timer on my tropiquarium 68, the whole thing is up and running and ready for fish all except the lights.

I have taken appart the timer unit on the top of the hood and the circuit board and leads all look in perfect order, I have changed the batteries with no joy,

If there is anyone out there that can give me some advice I would be so grateful.

Are you getting any read out on the timer display ? They have batteries in them I recall from when I owned one, have you checked the batteries ? Actually thinking back, the batteries are only for the read out not the activation of the lights which you can turn on manually too. I think if you google it you can download instructions for the timer if you dont have them.
Also do you know for sure that the tubes are ok ?

If all else fails you can pick up replacement timer units on the 'Bay. Good luck. Great tanks IMO
