Hi,

Today i just bought a 1 gallon tank that im using to raise molly fry in. I was going to purchase a heater to go along with the tank but my LFS was all out of the kind i needed. I decided that i would still buy the tank and use the light to supply enough heat. Well thats not working out too well as my water dropped three degrees already. its know at 72 degrees with fry in it. is there anything i can do to warm it up without a heater, i live 2 hours away from my LFS and cant go back for awhile.

NEED HELP PLEASE!

Turn up the heat in the house?

Float the fry in a container inside your main tank (which I assume has a heater) until you get back to the store.

You might also try Walmart - they sell a junior heater that's for small tanks (and are usually open 24 hours).

Yeah i was going to try wal mart tomorrow and hopefully the heater will fit my tank. Thanks for the advice and i have moved my fry into my main tank until i get a heater.
