I'm new in cichlids. It looks like a Jack Dempsey or Green Terror, etc, with the body of a parrot?

They are either short body flowerhorns or flowerhorn x BP(probably king kong BP).Very nice fish!!!

Apparently a parrot cichlid is a hybrid between the Vieja Synspilla and an unidentifies species of amphilophus - maybe labiatus or citrinellus. I dont see how this would work out as the parents arnt even in the same genus.
However, i would say the amphilophus species in this parrot would be Amphilophus trimaculatus - trimac cichlid...

Wow,yeh i would agree something like parrot x FH.They have the flower horns beuatifal colours

they are so called Bonsai's.. they are actually Fh's, lookd like Bonsai ZZ's..

they are practically not my taste, but there are always exceptions.. for ive seen some nice ones but still prefers short bodies over bonsai's for some bonsai are recessive deformity genes to me..

but yeah some peep  over them.. :good:

Another question
Different fish from the same supplier

Picture removed by me

Are these fish coloured/ dyed ?

I wouldnt say a flower horn. I stick with Trimaculatus. But a trimac is one of the parents of a flowerhorn supposidly with a Amphilophus Labiatus or citrinulls.
Wait?
this is the same parents as a flower horn...?
How i hate genetics
