Fish Crazy
Hi everyone, im new here and first off i wanna say that i love the site!!! ok nopw to th questions
I have had a few tanks for a while now and have been using Aqua Clear Filters. Unfortanatly after having them for about a year the tanks are staring to get cloudy.
I have a 29 gallon tank with an Aquaclear 200 and 2 angelfish, 1 clown loach, 1 pearl gourami, 3 Neon Tetras, a Pl*co, 4 Zebra Danios, 1 Fancy tail guppy, 1 rainbow fish, and 1 Platy. Would a Penguin Biowheel 330 be a better filter for this tank?
I also have a 55 gallon tank with an Aqua Clear 300. In it are 2 Oscars, 2 Blue gouramis, 2 Pl*cos, 2 Channel Cats, 1 Pictis cat, 1 Gold Gourami, 1 Giant Gourami, 1 Opoline gourami, and 1 Barb. If I add an Emperor 400 would that clear it up? o yea and i know with the 2 Oscars the tank is overcrouded which brings me to my next question. The oscars will be moving to a 65 or 75 gallon tank soon. What do you recomend to filter that? 2 Aqua Clear 500's or 2 Emperor 400's? Or one of both?
I also have a 10 Gallon tank with an Aqua Clear 150. In it is a Convict Cichlid. I know this is to small for him but he will be moving to the 65 or 75 with the oscars. What do you recomend to keep it clean until then??
i also have a 10 gallon with a Aqua Clear Mini. In it is 1 Newt, 1 Betta, and Guppies (for newt food). The Aqua Clear is working pretty good on that one but if it ever clouds up what do you guys recomend?
I also have another 10 Gallon with Nothing in it. I am planning on making it Salt water and puttin just 1 Clown Fish. Will an Aqua Clear 200 be sufficiant filtration ( I wouldnt buy another one, im going to use the one of of my 29 after i get the Penguin Biowheel 330) ?
