Help With Filter Selection

Hi, I have a 6 by 2 by 2 tank which I'm gonna set up pretty soon, it should end up housing quite big new world cichlids and other heavy poopers

the tank came with an eheim 2217 (used as a big powerhead - saltwater) which I need to buy spares for and I was wondering does anyone have any ideas for another filter or two? Initially I thought pro 2 2028, but if anyone can come up with cheaper/better ideas then that would be awesome.

Have you thought about a sump?

Otherwise I am happy with my fluval FX5 but I have it on a little tank with small fish so can't say what its like on a big tank with big poopers.

Do you know where yuo can buy them cheaply becaus i need to get one for my 7ft x 24 x 30 tank.

tetratec ex1200 will be fine for that size tank

I am using a sump and a Tetratec ex1200 and can vouch for both, also have a eheim 2126 but havent used that yet but it is supposed to be pretty good..
