Hello,

I am currently in the process of looking for a new tank, and drawn toward a corner tank design.

The tanks I have been pondering are:

Juwel 350 http://www.juwel-aquarium.de/en/trigon.htm?cat=23

Aquaone UFO 880 http://www.aquaone.co.uk/UFO_aquarium.php

Aquaone windsor 88 http://www.aquaone.co.uk/Windsor_aquarium.php

Does anyone have any experience with these tanks or anything similar?

The aquaone UFO 800 has a wet/dry tricle filter system, again any known pros/cons?

I think this is my 1st post although I've been a member for quiet a while. The knowledge and help you guys have provided me with just from other users prevoius posts has been fantastic.

Many thanks

D

hiya, i've got a juwel trigon 350, while i like the look of the tank it's not brilliantly designed. the internal filters not much cop so i upgraded to externals, and the size and design of the shelves inside the cabinet mean it's a complete ball ache to get into it to clean the filter.

because of the corner shape the tank while large is also not best for large territorial fish, trust me i have learnt from experience!

my best advice would be to go to a shop where they are set up and have a good look in teh cabinets, if you can sort of mimic getting in to disconnect and change a filter, see if you have room and stuff.

Thankyou,

I'm gonna have a look in my LFS this weekend, try squeezing into his cabinets.

Is your Trigon 350 you Oscar tank? (he is beuatiful btw)

Had a look at the Trigon 190, but it's too small, what size is the 350 from corner to front? (radius)

I only have one agressive fish, my algae eater (flyingfox) Wesley Stripes and he's already serving time in solitary!

cheers

D

yeah that's right, thanks

off the top of my head it's about 4 foot from the back corner to the middle of the front, but i'm at work right now so can't check for definate
