Hi all
I have a 40g tank and recently I added a Hagen ladder / yeast co2 system. It looks like its working fine, ie it's producing lots of regular bubbles which start of large and by he time they get to the top of the ladder they are tiny.
Today I received my co2 drop checker. It is the JBl one. After some initial confusion on my part and answered by you wonderful people I have Ito up and running. Trouble is it remains blue after 4.5 hours. I know that the yeast system is not powerful enough for my size tank but I would have thought some change would have occurred in the drop checker.
Anyway, my question is should I add another Hagen system or would one of the TMC or Fluval disposable co2 systems be better. Would either of these options produce enough co2 for a 40g?
I'm not interested in getting a bigger system at the moment nor do I want to construct one from paintball canisters or fire extinguishers. Maybe later on.
Thanks in advance you your advice.
