So about 3 weeks ago, i went out to the store and was convince by my friend to pick up 2 girlies to fill my empty tanks.

Well both of them are sick now, or probably were when i got them. My little white girl, Evil, had a bit of pop eye but it looks to be clearing up nicely :)
BUt my other girl, i think she's green, but it's so hard to tell because she's soo pale. She tiny, not even an inch long and hasnt eaten anything. I've tried flakes, pellets, bloodworms, i even tried last night to put a worm on tweezers but she wasn't interested either.
When looking at her above it's just her head that has barely any width to her. I want to stimualate her eating something but nothings worked. I tried putting one of my boys next to her at supper time, to give her the hint to come up of the bottom. I put her in with evil, but evil just chased her away. :/

So i'm stumped, anyone have any ideas how i can get her to eat?

Well making them flare doesn't make them hungry if they are already stressed out..it will just stress them further. That's my experience anyways (I've had several Thai boys who didn't want to eat at first).

If she is that small...she's probably still considered fry at that point..too little to have been sold I'd imagine.

A few questions:

What size tank?
Do you have any plants (fake or real doesn't matter) in with her, if so how many?
What's the temperature of the water?
How often have you changed the water?
What type blood worms have you tried, Frozen or Freeze Dried?
What size Pellets have you tried?
Can she readily see other fish?

Reason I ask about the tank, is if she is that small and she is in (for example) a 3 gallon tank with no plants..she could feel exposed and that could be stressing her.

Reason I ask about plants, is they make the fish feel safe. New fish really need that..because being moved around can stress some really badly.

Reason I ask about temperature, is that this plays a MAJOR role in how a betta will act. Too cold and they get lethargic and won't eat..kinda like hibernation (sort of but not exactly...just an semi-example). If it isn't at 80 degrees F try bumping it up to that..it will make her more active.

Reason I ask about changing the water, is that if it is a 1 gallon or less you need frequent changes (1/2 gallon every 2 days, 1 gallon every 4 days, ect.). Too much ammonia can stress them out and make them not eat.

Reason I ask about the blood worms, is freeze dried are not all that appealing to some (and not a good choice either..they can constipate them)...frozen is going to get gobbled up more readily...unless she has just gone too far without food, which at that point there's probably not much you can do. A body can only go so long without eating...and the younger the shorter the time span.

Reason I ask about the pellets, is not all pellets are the same size. Hikari Betta Biogold (comes in a little cardboard/plastic dispenser) are very small and easily eaten by younger fish. Wardley's and other brands (comes in a jar) are larger and will not fit in their mouth..no matter how hard they try...and after a while they just give up.

Reason I ask about seeing other fish, is since she is new she needs time to settle in to her new home. Being able to see a fish 3 times her size flaring and aggitated will definately stress a new fish out. If she can see another fish make it where she can't until she starts to act more "normal".

Good Luck

What size tank?
She was in a 5 gal with evil and a few ghost strimp, but she kept getting stuck to the filter or just floating on the surface and i was worried the shrimp may get her  , and it was fairly heavily planted.
She's not in a 1/2 gal, because that's teh only spare tank i had. It has a few really large rocks so she has a little hidey spaces.
Do you have any plants (fake or real doesn't matter) in with her, if so how many? none in the 1/2 gallon
What's the temperature of the water? It's not heated but it has a lamp that heats the water, so it's about 70ish, but i'm not sure
How often have you changed the water? 2x a week with cycle and tap water conditioner, so the ammonia problem is lower.
What type blood worms have you tried, Frozen or Freeze Dried? i think they're freeze dried
What size Pellets have you tried?Hakari bio gold, i even tried breaking them smaller
Can she readily see other fish? No, she on the desk with my other fish, but they're so much clutter  she can't see any of them.

unfortuantely she passed away last night :-(
