Help Water Is Turning Cloudy

Hi all,

I was wondering if any one could help..... I have a small 200 litre juwel fish tank and notice last week end when I was cleading it out that the power head had stop working. I have checks on the internet and found out that this is a very common problem with the Juwel internal filters. So i have gone and got myself a Tecta Tec external filter and in line heater. I have done a 50% drain down and put the cycled media from the internal filter in to the new one. This is where the problem has continued, the fish look very health and are feeding well, but the water has become very cloudy and is starting to smell a bit. I have checked the water and all the levels appear fine. I was hoping that someone may be able to offer some advise on how to deal with this. I have a spare internal filter which runs at 1400lhs which i could add, if it would help....

Dunno whats causing it but id definately do some regular water changes, especially if its smelling and stuff

just do regular water changes as stubert stated and it should clear with time.im also not sure what could have caused it.but if the water results are fine and the fish are fine then just do the water changes.

Normally cloudy water (white cloud) = bacterial bloom. Keep doing water changes to get rid of it; I heard it can take up to 3-4 weeks to get rid if.
