30 gallon tank (113.5 Liters)
8 Tiger barbs
Ages ranging between 8 months? to 1.5 years
Is there any way to get Tiger Barbs out of the mood to breed?
One of my females is ready to breed (belly suddenly plush with eggs and trying to lean and dance with males)
I have three males are fighting one another trying to be next to her (to do the little dance together through my leafy plants)
I would have purchased a divider for my tank until this mating frenzy ceased and I could find out what to do
but it was 10:00 in the evening when I found this happening and all LFS and shops were closed.
I do not want fry (or mass fry death, or fry buffet) in my aquarium.
Please any help would be greatly appreciated.
(Also does anyone know how long this process of the female being full of eggs lasts for tiger barbs?)
