Help sexing a Texas Cichlid

Hello All!

I am new to this forum so be patient with me. I have been trying to identify the sex of my texas cichlid, would it be possible for anyone to identify the sex of this wonderful cichlid for me?

Hi do you have any pics of them in the tank they are not too hard to sex as the males develop a different head shape and have more pointed fins.

Nice! Looks like a male to me - long extentions on the fins and a bump on the forehead. As they grow the bump on the head should get more noticable and could give the face a squarer shape rather than pointing towards the mouth.

What do you keep him with and what sort of tank?

I am currently keeping him alone in a 75G. My goal is to hopefully pair him up with a good female and see if they will breed.
