Sorry if this sounds negative, but there is no way that I am aware of that scratches can be removed from a filled tank, and please DO NOT use wet and dry. There is a product called jeweller's rouge which supposedly removes scratches (from empty tanks), but having tried it on several occasions, I have to say that it's not that successful. If you can feel the scratches with your nail, then they are too deep to remove. If they bother you that much, have you considered changing the front glass?

Thats a highly improbable task.
I work in a glass factory and we sometimes use Rouge, as WA has already pointed out, but it will only take out very fine blemishes and certainly no to be used inside an aquarium that is filled with water.

Well one advantage is they provide a wee space for the algae to grow. Mon' the algae!!!! I can't get rid of algae from a particular scratch smack bang on the front of the glass :grr:

Empty the tank, and turn it around if it's annoying you that much!
