help.. poor water quality

after having my new 55 gal tank setup
about 1/2 year so far ..

2 days ago i change my water 80% of water change

now why does my water gets alll dirty & cloudy so fast ?

never did this before ,,,, is it my filter is working poorly? is there chemical i suppose to add ? this is horrible

noway i will change my water every 2 days ,,,,, there must be a reason why

What kind of filteration are you using?

Something may be wrong with filter.

im using whisper power filter 60

my tank / after the water change used to last 1 week before it gets all cloudy & muggy

i did a water change 2 days a go the water inside the tank is all cloudy & muggy

Do you ever vac your gravel when you do water changes?

yes i do...

all this time/ all i did was change water once a week
and add dechlorinater .

i never check for ph , nitrates, etc

does above test have to do with being water gets so dirty ?

Maybe you should get a better filter. Whisper 60 may not be cutting it. Or you are over feeding your tank?

Do you clean and rinse filter material, change the floss? - Though I'm not familiar with your particular filter...

This cloudiness, is it suspended particals from the gravel or filter? If not then it may be that the large water change triggered an algea or bacterial bloom...
