Help please!

My power went out in my neighborhood last night. lasted a few hours, but the fish and everything is fine.

but, my filter isnt working. Its going, but not pumping. help me restart it?

HOB power filters get stuck all the time. Quickest thing to try is pull the tube out, pull the impeller mechanism out, and rinse it off. Make sure it's not gummed up with algae or anything. Sometimes, even after doing that, I've had to unplug and plug mine in a few times to get them to start back up.

Yup - When that happens with my AC filters, I just unplug them, then take them out of the tank (slowly so they can drain) and then go to the sink. I unscrew the impeller mechanism from the bottom and pull it out that way. Ungunk it a little, plug it in to test it and then re-assemble.
