Hi. I have noticed recently that one of my Male guppy’s has been very malnourished and very still. He sits in the bottom of the tank, so my natural instincts told me to separate him. I have put food in but he refuses to eat it, so I tried a different food, live food, but he still refuses to eat it. He then started swimming around in circles but when ‘chased’ by me he can swim normally. What can I do?

He may have a bacterial or parasitic condition. I would treat for bacterial first with something like Furan-2 if you can get it.

Okay will do. However if I can’t get it within a few days is there anything Else I can do?

Any med that fights bacterial infections. Petsmart it Amazon us where I get Furan-2.

Check your water quality for ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and pH before you do anything.

Then do a 75% water change and gravel clean the substrate every dya for a week.
Make sure any new water is free of chlorine/ chloramine before it's added to the tank.

Post some pictures of the fish.
