Help Please

I was cleaning my tank the other day with a magnet cleaner and accidently broke my glass tempature reader, I took out the glass and scooped out the little black balls and done a water change (20% of the 120L) will me fish be ok as some have started to die since? Will i have to do a 100% water change? Thanks in advance

Did any of the red alcohol release into your water and are all of the leadballs removed???

If some have died since that dont look good,dont them therms contain mecury!what fish have u and water stats.

yes all the black balls have been removed and I dont think the red fluid come out, I only had 5 fish in the tank and have lost two so far. Water stats are fine at the moment, if i loss anymore should i replace all the water and transfer the fish i have into another tank? I have swordtails and guppies in the suspected tank. Thanks for your replies

A few more have died today but after checking the water it seems fine, I got 3 left now with no signs of being ill. Should a do a large water change juts to double check?

Aquarium thermometers these days are alcohol, not mercury. A large water change is in order. The balls are steel, not lead, remove with a magnet.
