Help Please

i bought some bristlenos catfish around a month ago from a private dealer. they were sold to me as juveniles for 60p a fish and called ancitirus terimikinus now they have grew to the largest being around 2.5-3inches and they have no bristle at all how ever they have spots all over there body like a golden nugget plec but not as bright. they also look like a common pleco underneath when they suck on the glass but look a lot prettier on top can anybody help identify please

Females at that size probably wont have bristles, but they usually do have really tiny little "stubs". There are many type sof bristlenoses and some might very well be covered in small spots. Some are really dark with no spots, some are very light caramel brown, etc. etc.

Try and post a photo for us
