Hiya all,
New to the forum and need a bit of help please?
Firstly, I have an Ehein wet/dry external filter and the wet dry function has stopped working! Have recently moved my tank and had to shorten the stand, this has reduced the height from the bottom of the filter to the top of the water line to 96cm (very short stand, 2ft tall tank lol). It states in the manual that the hight HAS to be 100cm to 130cm..... could being 4 cm short really have that much effect? Any ideas haw to fix the prob?
Ps the filter worked fine for over 24 months before hand!!
Secondly, what if any is the difference if any between linear T5 lights and the compact dual T5's? Going to change to a T5 luminaire (4 x 55w, tank 4ft x 2ft x 2ft) system and am unsure as to what to go for, any suggestions?
This is one of the lumiaires i'm looking at (http

Sorry about being a pain and thanks in advance for any help.
Kind regards
