help my guppies just wont breed i have a male and 2 females and i've tried for 3months to get them to breed but they wont.i think the females might have been pregnant but there were no babies and i had thick weed shells and all!!!please give some good advice 8) B)

Ok firstly if your female was pregnant and you haven't seen any babies its probably because they were eaten. Do you have a breeding net/breeding tank? With guppies you hsould put female pregnant in either one of these suggestions untill labour is finished. Then remove female.

Also what do you feed your fish??? I have heard of many cases where females do not produce eggs ... fry due to a bad diet. For example if you feed yoru fish only blood worm or brine shrimp then the female may stop producing/less production of eggs/fry. Also what is your tank size?

Try getting another male from a different store, I had the same problem, sometimes teh males just choose not to breed!
