Help! Ph extremly low

What was your pH before, was it much higher than 6?

Could it be because you haven’t changed the water for a while? If so, I’d just change 25% of the water and do the same the following days until it’s back to where it should be.

How long have you had the swordfish with the neon? They need different water parameters.

The swordfish has been in the tank for 4 or 5 months. About a month ago my ph was 6.8, i'll change my water now. Thanks for your help!

You need to bring the pH up gradually, the reason why I suggest 25% water change each day.

I guess that Sydney water is about pH neutral with low GH, so the swordtails won’t live as long as they should because they need higher pH and GH.

You shouldn't aim to make "fast" changes to water parameters. Your fish are acclimated to the parameters they are in now and large swings to change them will stress your fish out.
Which is why its beneficial to make large water changes every week. Doing this will not only keep the tank water clean but will keep ph stable

I do around 30% to 50% changes, usually once per week but sometimes I wait two weeks if the other parameters are good. All my tanks stay at around 7.6 ph.
