ive got one the same but brown and i wont grow lol ive had it for 2 yers and ist only grown 1cm lol its about 2" total lol

Yours sounds like a Synodontis nigriventris jay,

I agree the pic is most likely to be a Syno Eupterus

#####, 20cm of fish x 2

i frigin hate lfs when they invent new fish by givin old fish diff names

oh well, looks like the 5fter is needed then

some sites that iv looked at are sayin they can be a bit aggressive, and some sites are sayin they arnt... also its varyin on the size side, some say 15cm others say upto 22cm.

they seem to be gettin on ok with my baby hoplo catfish atm, i spose the aggressive side will come out when they get older an bigger

IME with 2 your going to see some aggression from them once they mature,

I kept 2 in a four foot tank for about 2 years, In this time the dominant one reached about 8" and the other around 6",
In the end I had to rehome them both as they became ever more aggressive towards each other and both needed more space than what i had at the time
