Help Needed Using Maracyn

Can somebody help me? I've got a problem with BGA, it covers the sand in the front of my tank. Last week I clean the whole tank, removing the top of the sand and rinsing under hot water, removed plastic plants, cleaned the bogwood etc etc. I put in live plants, install a Nutrafin CO2 and everything looked good. But the BGA started to come back, so I have brought some Maracyn to kill it off. I scraped a little bit off before I received the tablets, but it's coming back again in a big patch.

So, would it be better to treat the whole tank or to place little bits of a tablet into the sand around the area it is growing. If I was to place a bit into the sand how far down should I put it, as I have some Cories.

I would appreciate any help.

i had the same problem a while back . i just did the whole tank and it killed it off in 3 days but i did do it for the full 5 days . all my Cories were fine and i just throw the pills in and i have 12 Cories. never lost one

, Thanks donkey. Did you have a mini cycle while treating your tank? I've hear it happens.

no problems with a mini cycle . all went great
