i just changed the water yesterday but it is still dirty! :-( i think it has something to do wit my 2 clown loach that died today. :-( i hate ich! i can't use my carbon in my filter because of the medicine but it din't save my clowns from ich, i will wait till the tank settles with ich and when my tank becomes crystle clear again, i'm gonna buy new clowns! :D but i seem to have trouble getting the water clear again  darn :grr:

 cleaning a tank and doing a water change stirs up some of the waste left behind and causes the water to cloud give it a day or two and it should clear up.

if you are talking about the tank in your signature, i would check and make sure that your filtration is large enough to handle the load that you have put on your tank. awful lot of fish for a ten gallon and if the filter is one that came with a complete set up, it may not be large enough to handle.

how long has the tank been set up and what color is the cloud?

the filter i use is for 20gallon and it has been set up for a month, the cloud is ther for 2 days should i change the water again, will it give my fish stress and if so, should i get the fish out of the tank then change the tank? :D sorry! i guess i forgot to change my signature! my 2 clown loach died cause of ich and 3 of my neon got eaten! :-(

for a tank that in only 1 month old that isa very heavy stocking level, especially for the size. I ran into that same problem when I stated. too many fish, too fast and I ended up with ich and many fish died. I have since purched a 5 gallon hex and a 10 gallon and moved some fish around, gave some fish away and my tanks are finally cycling properly.

I use a single layer of fiber fill over the intake of my filter to remove small particulates after cleaning. It works great to clarify the water, just be sure to remove it after it's dirty or the filter intake will be impaired.

The fiber fill I'm referring to is used in sewing as a flat, but puffy layer used when making pillows or raised appliques. It's probably called something else outside of the States, sorry I don't know what the term is!!! :D

i think it's the glass with is dirty, not the water, lol! kinda stupid of me, ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha :hyper:

If it's not the glass he!he!he! try filter aid from intrepet I always use it after cleaning polish's the water crystal :D
