if its a fry then its more than likely deformed if its an adult then you must have changed the water temperature too quick, this is what happens in my tanks now and again. but normally i see this and pore in cold water until he/she stops

hes an adult and i havent pured in water in a couple of weeks and when i did it was only like a inch

Thatl explain it! And it was only an inch. With how overstocked your tank is, and the lack of clean water I'm very suprised you don't have a lot of dead fish.

SORRY its a 55 gallon and i cant clean it because my mom wont do the dishes and and my dad wont get the hose thing out and there puting it off for ANOTHER MONTH i cant do it my self and i ve been bugging them about it but they wont DO IT

Right I don't care how harsh you think I sound, truth hurts. Your fish need a bigger tank, or rehoming. They also need 20% water change each week, without fail. Your poor water is slowly killing them, which is cruel.

Over full tank + no water change = ammonia poisoning. Which is a very slow death if not rectified immediately.
Not forgetting troubles that your gonna get with ph, nitrite and nitrates.
If you can't give them proper care, then find someone who will.

Btw if they won't change your water for another month then you probably won't have any fish to worry about. You might get away with it if you were less overcrowded but yours is well over stocked, you'd have to be s**t hot with your water stats to keep them all alive anyway.

In the very least, can you get a bucket and jug and remove water slowly that way? If its too much to do weekly you could do small changes daily... would be a lot better than not changing it at all!

sorry i know i was wrong and were diong it this week not next month like i said and thanks prarie sun flower thats a good idea and thanks phurn for giving me the info on that and when we move within 2 weeks im going to keep it clean i promise also in the next week im getting rid of about half and getting a betta and maybe a few more helthy ones thanks for your information

I wouldn't worry too much about raising fry if you get a Betta, theyl be nothing more than a light lunch!
