- Help! My glo danio is sick! It was okay yesterday it might have been a little more slow than usual but there was no noticable problems. Today she is resting at the bottom of her 3 gallon aquarium and cannot swim well. The danio's aquarium isn't cycled because a friend gave it to me in a 1.5 gallon without any tank mates. I checked the water chemistry and temperature this morning and it seemed okay. I Know Danios need to be in schools of a minimum of 5-6. I was going to put her in my goldfish's old 20 gallon after I cycled it. I was going to have her with 5-6 other Danios. ( I recently updated my goldfish to a bigger aquarium. Their old aquarium was not cycled.) The link should have a picture and video of the danio.
