 Hi, please help! My guppy boy's got a big, aroung 1mm, growth on his tail. The growth is red. I have noticed that few weeks ago, treated with salt an antibacterial stuff wihout success. The growth it is getting bigger. Will be grateful for your thoughts!
He eats well, chasing girls, but getting tired quickly and rests on the bottom of the tank.
There are no agressive fishes to cause him such a damage.

Many thanks
Olga

Could possibly be a tumour, if it is a tumour then theres nothing that can help it really

Moved from "Aquarium Pictures".

Pics would be helpful, as would water stats, tank size and occupants.

Any white or slimy edges to the tail?
Is there a white patch on or to either side of the dorsal fin?
Any sign of white stuff or rotting around the mouth?

Sorry, had to ask, red growths on fins could be columnaris
