Hi there
My silver arowana (2.5 feet long) has not been eating for 2 days. I have been feeding her with superworm 25-30 per day..Just two days ago her appetite seemed to be gone and I noticed she likes to stay at the bottom of the tank rather than swimming back and forth like she normally does. She will swim from time to time but not to the surface and then go down to the bottom again. (she is in 220 gallon tank with 5 oscars). Anybody knows what's going on with her?
Please advise.

Water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.
What else do you feed the fish.

Don't know anything about arowana but is that many worms to much.

it could be bacterial, swim bladder or constipation.
Does she look bloated.
What does it look like when she goes to the toilet.
Is she leaning to oneside.
Can she maintain balance.

The tanks to small for the arowana too. They need massive tanks.

In 20 years of expiernce with my arowana...the best way is to feed her twice a day morning ang evening only, (ex. 6 shrimps remove the tail and head cause they are pointed and can harm your arowana), so that would be 12 shrimps a day same with your superworm. Before u feed her remove the pooh at the bottom to keep the water clean. The water should be change every two weeks maximum 75 to 80%.

In your case as long as your arowana swims in a normal way, maybe she is waitng for another meal, if she swims unbalance left, right or upwards change water immediately and increase your errator, you should not let her swim upward holding or guiding her in a right way to swim may help her recovers

im guessing your tank is about 250cmx70x60ish? that sound small to me for such a large arowana and 5 oscars? a few questions for you that may help us figure out whats wrong

how often do you change water and what kind of filtration do you have?
how long has the tank been set up for and how was it cycled?
how long have you had the fish?

do you have your water stats? (ammonia, nitrite and nitrate would be good!)
what temp is the water and what is the ph value
is it just the arowana acting strange or are any of the oscars acting funny too?
when did you last do a water change and do you gravel vac?
