tryin to turn my brackish tank salt water, its only got two fish in it, a green spotted puffer and a snowflake eel (G. tile). its well cycled and matured right now, but heres a few questions about moving to full salt.
first...... how fast/slow should i raise the salinity? its at 1.011 right now.
second....... theres a product called "cycle" that helps add more nitrifying bacteria to the tank, would this help speed up or make the process safer?
third..... can i add live rock before its full salt? or would the lower salinity kill the good stuff growing on it? (i'm guessing it would, but just checking)
thanks!
