when i looked in my tank this afternoon my golden apple snail was floating :(
and my rams were pecking at it :(

how can i tell if its died :(
also i've gotta upside down cat in the tank for algae :(
please help me my ph is 7.0 but insure about every thing us

Apple snail floating is not an indication of death.
apple snails do that sometimes when they want to relocate themselves
Check water conditions as a precaution..

And do give him some pellets.

Another way to check if he is alive is to take him out of the water and see if he moves.
Since apple snails can also breath air there is no problem as long as you dont't expose him inito temperature or humidity diverse conditions than the usual.
