I'm planning to transfer my cichlids from their 240 to a 300 that I'm setting up. So now I'm starting to brainstorm about new inhabitants for the 240. I'd like to get some Tinfoils and other medium to large fish (from Asia). Anyway, I'm thinking about doing some Balas and Clown Loaches. Any advice for tankmates? I think Pangas Cats get too big and are spooked too easily. I'd like to get some sorta catfish in there though. Your thoughts and comments are appreciated!

I have three 14inch redtail tinfoils/2 silver sharks/ there beautiful fish,,,,,

to your tank....

6 true tinfoils if you can lay your hands on them.....
6 silver bala sharks.....
1 Osphronemus gourami
6 hoplo catfish

I think the gourami would be too big, even for a 240. I've never seen a hoplo cat for sale. Are these guys pretty hardy? They're South American, right? Does anyone know of any catfish native to Asia that don't get over 10 inches? Thanks.

might be to big but a shovel nose catfish
